MTS: Wireless headphones’ 2021 sales leap 37% to 51 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Jan 11 (PRIME) – Russia’s sales of wireless headphones jumped by 37% in 2021 to 51 billion rubles and by 40% to 11.9 million devices, mobile operator MTS, which also runs a large retail chain, said in a research late on Monday.

The average price fell by 2% to 4,300 rubles.

In money terms, Apple led with 41% of the market and was followed by JBL with 14.3% and Samsung with 10.6%.

In units, JBL accounted for 20% of the sales, Xiaomi had 14% of the market and Apple 11%.
